DREAMSCAPES III

The realm of dreams was once thought to be the connection to the supernatural. In the 3rd century BC, the Greek philosopher Aristotle challenged this notion. He was the first to express a belief that dreams originated within the Self and not influenced by the Supernatural. In more modern times, Freud and Jung continued to investigate the importance of dream analysis and it’s connection with the inner psyche.

It has been said that by interpreting your dreams you can look deep into your inner psyche. The goal of this process is to provide a deep personal analysis which can lead you to being more fully aware of your Self. There are some who believe that this process is a path to personal enlightenment. For others, it is simply a way to strive for inner peace.

Often, memories and their associations can provide insight into our dreams. Unfortunately, memories are often dormant, stored in the unconscious until something shakes them loose. For many, one simple image can set free a stream of memories, stories, and dreams that can connect them with something that they have lost.
